What’s on offer at Platinum Jubilee Leisure Centre?

Cardio Zone

The cardio area includes treadmills, bikes, rowers, and cross trainers, with more than 100 stations in total. You’ll also find Technogym SkillMill equipment, giving you plenty of choice to mix up your sessions. Staff are nearby if you’d like help getting started.

Strength Zone

The free weights area is set up with dumbbells up to 40kg, along with barbells, kettlebells, squat racks, and benches. It suits anyone looking to build strength or work on muscle tone. Push yourself or start small and build a routine, it's up to you.

Functional Zone

The functional training zone includes kettlebells, sandbags, and medicine balls. It’s a good space for bodyweight exercises and circuits, helping you keep workouts varied. This area works well whether you’re new to the gym or train often.

Resistance Zone

In the resistance zone, machines such as lat pulldowns and leg presses help you work all the main muscle groups. Guided movement makes the equipment easy to use and helps you keep track of progress. Staff are on hand if you need support.
